Questions about the Fine Dice chopper
The short answers are on the product page. These are the harder ones.
What does it not do?
It is a cordless electric food chopper, not a blender and not a full food processor. Nothing in the box blends a drink, kneads dough or grinds coffee.
What goes in it, and what does not?
- Chopper bowl: garlic, onion, shallot, chili, ginger, soft herbs.
- Slicing disc: carrot, cucumber, potato.
- Peeler head: potatoes, carrots, apples.
- Scrub brush: root vegetables, under running water.
Firm vegetables like carrot and potato are fine. Harder than that, ice, coffee beans, bones or anything frozen, is outside what we sell it for.
How long does the battery last?
It charges over USB with the cable in the box and runs cordless, so nothing is plugged in while you cook. We are not printing a runtime or charge time we cannot stand behind.
Are the parts dishwasher safe?
We do not claim that. Every part that touches food lifts out to wash. The motor unit wipes with a damp cloth and must never go under the tap.
Is it loud, and does it have to live on the counter?
It is a small electric motor, so it makes a noise, and the runs are short: you pulse it for a coarse chop and hold it for a fine mince. We have not measured it, so there is no decibel figure here. It is a handheld bowl chopper rather than a countertop machine, and being cordless it does not have to live on the worktop. We have not published dimensions or a weight yet.
What if the parcel arrives damaged, or never arrives?
Reply to your order confirmation email with your order number, and a photo if the box or the chopper arrived damaged. We send a replacement. The same route covers a parcel that was lost or stolen in transit, and it is separate from the guarantee, so it is not capped at 45 days.
If the chopper itself stops working later, reply to the same email and tell us what happened. Inside 45 days of delivery the guarantee covers it. After that we have no published policy to point you at, so we look at it case by case.
Do you ship outside the US?
No, the US only. Shipping is free and tracked, processed in 1-2 business days and arriving in 4-5 business days. The tracking link is emailed when the parcel is dispatched. See shipping and returns.
What if I change my mind?
Within 12 hours of ordering we cancel and refund before it ships. After that the 45-day guarantee runs from delivery: a full refund, used is fine, keep the chopper, nothing to post back. If you would rather post it back, we cover the postage. The refund starts within 3 business days and the bank takes a further 5-10 days.
Anything else, reply to your order confirmation email. It reaches the owner.
