Why one tool instead of four
Most kitchen drawers have the same problem. A chopper, a slicer, a peeler and a scrub brush, four single-job gadgets, all taking up room, most of them untouched this month. That is the problem we picked.
The Fine Dice 4-in-1 puts four heads on one USB-rechargeable motor handle. The chopper bowl and blade, the slicing disc and bowl, the peeler head and the scrub brush head all run off the same handle. Seven pieces come in the box, including a cleaning tool and a USB charging cable. One motor to charge, four jobs done, and the drawer gets emptier. It is $24.99, against a compare-at price of $49.99.
What we claim, and what we do not
We would rather be specific than impressive. Here is what each head is for:
- Chopper bowl: garlic, onion, shallot, chili, ginger and soft herbs. Pulse for a coarse chop, hold for a fine mince. You can see the chop through the bowl.
- Slicing disc: carrot, cucumber, potato.
- Peeler head: potatoes, carrots, apples.
- Scrub brush: root vegetables under running water.
Every part that touches food lifts out to wash. The motor unit wipes down with a damp cloth and must not go under the tap. If a food is not on the list above, we have not claimed the chopper does it.
How we stand behind it
You have 45 days from delivery. If it is not for you, you get a full refund, used is fine, and you keep the chopper. There is nothing to post back.
